CMAT

The Central Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an entrance exam conducted annually by the Faculty of Management, Tribhuvan University. It is typically held in the months of August or September, following the publication of Grade XII results. This examination is mandatory for students who wish to pursue the following management-related programs under Tribhuvan University.

Programs Requiring CMAT

  • Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor of Business Management (BBM)
  • Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM)
  • Bachelor of Information Management (BIM)
  • Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM)

Admission Requirements

  • CMAT is a mandatory step to apply for the above-mentioned programs.
  • Students must score at least 40 out of 100 to be eligible.
  • CMAT is the minimum requirement for admission into Tribhuvan University-affiliated colleges or campuses.
  • Individual colleges/campuses may also have additional admission criteria such as:
    • College entrance exams
    • Group discussions
    • Personal interviews
